The Winter City,Kemi

Castle in the air?? NO, but the world´s biggest SnowCastle in Kemi every year. It contains a SnowHotel with 20 rooms, a church, art exhibitions, restaurants, all built of snow. 50-80 000 visitors come every year to see and feel this cold but enchanting tourist attraction. And a cruise on an Arctic Ice Breaker, when the ice is more than one meter thick might interest you.
The ship breaks ice for an hour and far away from the coast it stops and you can swim with big ice cubes in the freezing sea. Of course after that you go to sauna...and as you had a good cruise-meal, all this makes you relaxed and happy...

Kemi is my home. I love it.

Pros:In summer the sun shines almost all night
Cons:No mountains
In a nutshell:In SnowCastle your heart melts.

ohhh i remember the day in kemi - snow castle visit and ICE BREAKER cruise (really expensive but alot of fun.....
