Hello- I am JIM- US born but living and working in Bangkok. Playful, experimental, openminded, happy go lucky... I travelled to a number of countries in my life and lived in 7. Making and building new friendships with nice people around the world, laughter, good chats over coffee or tea, bicycling, long walks, good food ( I LOVE good CHOCOLATE too!!!!!) camping in a tent in a mountain with friends,bathing in waterfalls, picnics with wine, etc. Breaking down old barriers and hatred which governments and bad politics built and building new bridges of friendship is something ordinary people can do just by being kind and tolerant of others ways of life. Peace, kindness, tolerance and understanding leads to love around the world.

I am writing the information on this site NOT to compete for the best points and to be the greatest VT participant- I am not seeking acknowledgment for quaint and clever journalistic writing prose- Information changes, places close and change, and of course, everyone is different and has a different experience and opinion. I am writing my comments down because I don't have many photos and I have to admit my memory won't last forever, but I am able to recall and share with the whole world the wonderful as well as the not so wonderful times and experiences I had when travelling. I graciously welcome all and any comments from anyone who went to the places I have and perhaps agree or disagree and share what they experienced!
