skiing around annecy

i unfortunatly erased my last pictures from annecy town, but will get to go again in july 2004 so patience and they will get here, until then a picture taken from the top of a ski slope in "la marjoria" about 40km from annecy.
the new pictures of Annecy are here but i decided to keep this one as an intro as i like it.

Wow! What a place! A little Venice, or something! Also these infos were completely new for me! A place to keep in consideration for an eventual visit in the future!

Just a little mistake : the old town is not called Annecy-le-Vieux but "le vieil Annecy". Annecy-le-Vieux is an another town near Annecy. I agree it's a little bit confusing.

Charming place, a mix of Switzerland and Venice, would make a good scenery for watercolors! I have never skied, but I would go for a sledge!! :-)

What a pretty place, I love the old town and palais de 'ile. The lake is really lovely and taking the ferry would be perfect. la "grolle" sounds dangerous:-).. lovely page.

Beautiful photos of this awesome looking place - I love those canals for streets! You made me hungry with your description of all the cheese delights that could be had! A great page.
