"the AIN "departement"(area)" Bourg-en-Bresse by sylvie-uk
Bourg-en-Bresse Travel Guide: 31 reviews and 154 photos
the Ain departement is situated in the Rhone-alpes region and is itself divided in small regions: le Revermont, le Bugey, both being more mountainy, and la Bresse with the flatest landscape, flowery villages and a delight for the taste-buds. Was i born there? i think i was.
i ve had to put it under Bourg-en-bresse which is the main town in the travel pages as VT doesnt cover departements in France .
- Pros:great food, charming places.
- Cons:not a buzzy place eventhough sometimes it s a pro for me
- In a nutshell:great place for food lovers, cycling in the area is great, lakes and rivers, worth a visit if you are into this kind of holidays
