We landed in Arezzo on the first Sunday in November, the day of the month they hold the Arezzo's Antiques Exhibition (the oldest, the largest) (Their words, not mine) This means blocks and blocks of vendors, hundreds of tables of antiques, and flea market collectables. But our favorite part of the day was meeting fellow vter's Ciambella (Charles and Nathalie). We had a wonderful lunch together and have made some new friends.
- Pros:Easy to walk around the old downtown
- In a nutshell:Would like to visit again

coincidence! I'll be driving in Tuscany May-June. Lucca, a fav of mine, is on again, for the antique market among other things.... If I miss it, I'll go to Arezzo which is Market Numero Uno! :))
You make me hungry for Italy and its food.
Thanks for the visit to our 5terre page... I visit you're Arezzo page for the 2nd time. I see you have kinder words than Ciambella for the antique mrkt! We also found it quite fun. Now to return with a Van!
Great fun to meet VT friends in Italy. Arezzo is one of the few places we missed on our Italy trips.
an interesting location, but unfortunately Arezzo is still missing on my map :-((
Charlie refuses to take any more night train from Arezzo so we are out of luck on trying new restaurants. However, that could be a blessing in disguise.
Very nice pages. I didn't know how intresting could be the Arezzo's graveyard.. now I know :-)) Very Helpufull and Accurate!
Hmmm...your pages make me want to go back to Italy. I also am fascinated by some of the European cemetaries...weird, heh? Jeannette
Italy is great. And meeting VTers is great too. Who are they BTW?
