|  | walk around the town of towers There are paintings everywhere, it is a beautiful town but if you could imagine a medieval shopping mall....thats where you are at. Nice shops mind you but shops it is, wine shops, leather shops, souvenier shops. |

Some of the white wines made in San Gimignano are some of the best drinking wines I have ever tasted. The funny thing is you can buy them anywhere and they don't cost anymore than from the wine vendors locally. Tourist factor, indeed. Ciao. Bill. |
