First thing that I did after setteling in a dorm was that I took a walk to Danube. And I wasn't wrong.....I fell in love with this city immediatley. Beautiful bridges, that connect Buda and Pest and the fascinating buildings of Buda castle and numerous churches are definitely breathtaking.

Of course, this was an absolut must see for me, as a ballet dancer. But, neverthless it is really a beautiful building and definitely worth seeing. If you don't have the oportunity to go and watch some preformances, take an organized tour to see it from the inside. It is really magnificant. I had that luck to actually go and see two big ballet Gala's- one from european nordic countries and one from Miami. During summer there are lots of cultural summer festivals and if you have the possibility go and see something.

St.Stephen's basilica is the biggest church in Budapest. Unfortunately, I couldn't get in 'cause it was already a night, but I was pretty amazed just looking at it and walking around.

This is definitely the place I liked the most in Budapest. Since I'm very, very fond of old castles and palaces this was like walking in a dream to me. Huge and beautiful this palace left me completely speechles. And trust me, it will do the same to you...

Made by Laszlo Marton and put on this place on 1990. It looks like a boy, because of the clothes, but if you check out the sign underneath the statue, you'll see it's a girl. The artist was inspired watching his little daughter playing in the garden dressed in a costume. The original is small, and now is saved in Budapest gallery.

Definitely a must do...I went on a night cruise, it was beautiful. You can see all must-see buildings situated by Danube. Be careful...there are lots of different companies and prices are different,so ask around, you can get the same thing for two times cheaper price.

What I liked the most about synagogue was this interesting fountain. It is really beautiful, so when you're there, don't forget to take a walk around the synagogue 'cause the fountain is on the back side.
