Zagreb is my hometown. Sometimes when I travel,I think that I could easily live somewhere else,but everytime I'm comming home I am happy and realize that no other country or city could replace Zagreb.
Zagreb is an old town and there are many buildings,museums and monuments that are telling you that. There is also a mountain Sljeme just at the edge of the city,so the trip to nature is always possibile.
Most foreign people I met during their trip to Zagreb were surprised with our lifestyle. People here are friendly and relaxed,everybody drinks coffiee in the bars during the day and socialize-there's no working till the late hours and running for money.

This is a part of Upper town. Uppertown is one of two oldest parts of Zagreb. It has a very specialplace in my heart,the peacefullness and mystic always are two things I feel when I walk through it's streets...it's like history is all around you and you can just feel the spirit of people who lived there long ago. I went to school in that part of the city and that is also one reason for having that place in my heart. It's also a place ideal for romantic walks with a guitar man always playing, great pubs and cocktail bars. The best thing is that you can see whole Zagreb from there.
