Seems like I always come home thrilled with a country or a city I've travelled to. I really don't know why- but I think the main reasons are that I never expect much of a journey and that I am very open to new cultures.
The same thing happened with my trip to Egypt. It came of a sudden, so I actually didn't have time to prepare myself and go there with some pre- journey prejudices. That is why arriving in Cairo was a bit of a shock to me. But a shock passed with a beautiful morning, and became love. Love and chaos, and beauty that lies unfolded only for the ones that really want to see it.
