Nassau/Cable Beach, The Bahamas

Getting There:

We flew Southwest Airlines From Houston (HOU) to Fort Lauderdale, Florida (FLL). Then we flew American Eagle from FLL to Nassau (NAS). What a long day of flying! Our American Eagle flight was awful. It was nearly an hour late. The aircraft was worn out and dirty. They did not run the air conditioner while on the ground. I'm only 5/10" and my knees were hitting the seat back in front of me! The windows were so dirty and scratched up, I could barely see out, let alone take pictures! When we arrived at Nassau, I overheard our flight attendant telling a ground worker "This is American Eagle, we're not trying to make your lives easier!" She may have been kidding around, but comments like that should never be made within hearing distance of passengers. The flight attendant who said it was not very professional to begin with. She had long, stringy red hair pulled back into a pony tail. It looked like she just jumped out of the shower and came to work. I tried to get her name from her employee badge but it was turned backward when we got off the plane.

The Hotel:

We stayed at the Wyndham Nassau Resort and Crystal Palace Casino on Cable Beach... more info soon.
