"Kuala Lumpur" Kuala Lumpur by roger-ramjet

KL was one of the first places I stopped on my current trip and was told before I left just use it as a stopover on the way to somewhere better. What I found was a place well worth seeing a lot of. It's was much cleaner than I expected the people were really nice even though every taxi drivers tried to rip us of which became amusing by the end of our trip, we had one taxi driver wanting 100usd for a ride to the airport. There are plenty of things to do and see around the city and plenty of options out of it.

Chinese Temple

A positive thing about KL I found was there are a lot of things to do and see close to the main downtown district. For example the Chinese temple (which is what the photo is of), Petronis Towers, KL Tower, Kings Palace, and just out of town but a short taxi ride the Batu Caves. KL can be done on the cheep of expensive, there are plenty of places to get a meal for only a cpl of dollars and right around the corner you can spend as much as you like eating whatever you want at five star restaurants.
