Shopping in Chaoun

All the shop that line the narrow streets of Chaoun are bristling with colour and sweet smells.

What to buy: Most shops sell things for tourists like hats, cushions, shawls, pipes, Arabictea pots and glasses, ‘traditional’ Arabic clothes, plates, lamps, marble chess sets, ornate tables, little wooden boxes, leather bags, flavoured tobacco, rugs and lots of other interesting looking things.

Just take a look at the photo for an example of all the different kinds of things you’ll find there waiting for you. You’ll be spoilt for choice if you’re looking for gifts to take back to your friends and family.

What to pay: It's all so cheap. You'll be amazed.
