Morocco is like going back to biblical times in some places. It's very beautiful and so colourful though does have it's major drawbacks too based on the poverty of the country. It is not a relaxing holiday destination. It is a cultural experience! |
Chefchaouen: The most relaxed hill towns in Morocco which looks very similar to a Andaluz Pueblo Blanco in Spain. Namely due to the fact the Arabs built the white villages in Spain and the Arabs that were expelled from Spain after Isabella and Fernando’s victory returned to Chaouen. Though they brought back at lot of things from Andalucia too like the roof tiles. In fact Chaoen is supposed to be based on Vejer de la Frontera. |
See what I mean about the colours?!? |
