It really is like entering a different country when you drive into Galicia. It's just SO green, and there are so many cows (unlike the south), the houses in the countryside are gigantic and the roads are incredible.
It's like Scotland with yellow heather. The buildings in the villages look like celtic buildings too though a lot of the towns are very modern looking now.
When the sun is shining the coast looks amazing. The sea is so clear and blue and green and the sand is white. The coastlines aren't built up either!
There is so much to see in this northern corner of Spain. Forget the south. Come here in summer!!!! Not in winter though, because all it does is rain. It rains more here than in England!!!!
The Capital of Galicia. If it wasn't for the rain I would live here. I'll never forget this town. I love it. It has such a lovely welcoming feeling to it.
There are great places to be and see and the Gallegos have such great accents I could listen to them speak all day!
I haven't got all my photos developed yet, but when I do I'll put them on this page for you to see. I think you'll be impressed (by Galicia more than my photo's!!).
My favourite coastal town is O' Pindo. Though the end of the Earth was quite a place to see and Tuy (Tui) is just wonderful!
- Pros:The breathtaking beauty of the country and the accents of the people
- Cons:The RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- In a nutshell:Stunning when the sun is out. Though it still has the feel to it that it's drying out and has been under water for a long time!

Hola! I felt in love with the Northern Spain during my stay in Asturias this summer. Galicia looks amazing too. Your page gives much useful information about this beautiful region. Gracias!
Great page.. I think Spain just made my top 5 list.
Very nice presentation of rainy Galicia: very descriptive, intelligently written and informative. Oh, btw: that "old ruin of a house" photo is fabulous! Great work.
Very impressive page. Voy a estudiar en Santiago por un mes en julio. No puedo esperar!
