Antequera (Malaga) The City of Art

Pijos y ingleses ricos

Plaza San Sebastian
Antequera in the province of Malaga is a beautiful white town set against an amazing backdrop of mountains including the famous pena de los enamorados which looks like a face.

If you've seen Ronda, Arcos and Vejer and think you don't need to see another white town you are wrong. Antequera has lots more to offer you that you haven't already seen yet! Take for example it's numerous churhes and convents, anciant caves or El Torcal(bizarre rock formations) as well as the fact that Antequera is one of the best kept towns in Andalucia. It is a wealthy place and now with the new golf course it seems to be attracting lots of well off English people too.

Can't wait to visit Spain. A Dog agility show? :-) So if I go here, I need to check out the Loos.. sounds fascinating. Thanks for a delightful page.

The Castillo looks great. Plaza Najera y el Palacio de Najera even better, just a place worth a visit! Nice site and great pictures. Thanx!
