Walk down the mainstreet and be transported back to colonial times. the restoration of this town is phenominal, very well preserved restuarants, shops and houses

The printer's shop was interesting with a guide demonstrating printing press technology of colonial times.

Colonial Williamsburg

Williamsburg is a great destination for a historical trip to our countries early beginnings. Tour colonial houses and buildings, buy gifts and crafts and eat great colonial style food.

This is the capitol building and it offers a place to hear good stories about our early American legislatures.

Nice beginning on Williamsburg. Every time I take an out-of-town friend there, I learn something new and get more photos. When I went last month, they were making repairs around the capitol with all that unsightly scaffolding. Glad you went when you did.
