When I told everyone I was staying in Naples everybody said "why". They cited various reasons not to go like crime, dirty and run down, the traffic and nothing to see.
Sure there was the hectic no rules traffic, graffitti was abundant and there were piles of garbage but I found the city to be very charming and the people friendly. There is a real sense of community that comes across here. Everyone seemed to know everyone and all the mom and pop stores made this city feel like a cozy village. |
