I came to live in Derbyshire 3 years ago with my partner Mick.

He was from the West Midlands and I was from South Yorkshire so we chose the Amber Valley area of Derbyshire as it was half way between the two.

Living a short distance from East Midlands Airport has its advantages. It also has its temptations. When we hear of cheap flights, we just can't say no.
So far since living here, as well as our main holidays, we have been to Edinburgh, Dublin, Amsterdam, and Paris and shall be going to Cologne later in the summer.

Mick is a footie fan and still has a season ticket to see Wolves play each season.

I enjoy making things, whether its cards, Decoupage, needlecraft, anything really.

We both enjoy pottering in the garden and I get a real buzz from growing my own flowers.

We both love to go out into the countryside and find a nice little pub, and love nothing better than having friends with us so we can show off where we live.

We like the Theatre, Musical Shows, Concerts and Dining out or in. Mick loves to cook (lucky me!)
