Wilmington Waterfront, Dec. 03 - Wilmington

Wilmington is like an unrefined gem; beautiful overall, but still with some flaws. I've lived here for about fourteen years and am still learning the ins and outs of the area, the little nuances that make it what it is. It, by all accounts, is a beach/port community. Most people see it as a vacation spot, but it's more than that. It's mainly known for three things; 1) Michael Jordan's hometown, 2) hurricanes, and 3) it's film industry (though, with the size of the area, you would no doubt have the urge to scratch your head on that last fact). So, here is my first attempt at a travel page . . .
