the city that is awake / la ciudad despierta The name of Seoul comes from the ancient word 'Seorabeol' or 'Seobeol', meaning "capital" We live here since 2002 and it is a very vivid city. Better to spend time to be abble to appreciate it. The trees on the autum are beautiful and the humid weather on the summer caractherizes the weather colors of this city.
When the sun shinnys, almost daily (however we do not see through the smoke/pollution), people are happy to walk on the streets. In April, women cover their heads with hats to protect from the suns rays, they wear white gloves on their hands and a parasol to protect, again from the sun. |
| | flea markets and local markets / mercadillos you name it, anything you need you can find it on both markets. DOngdaemum is so big: purse market, material market, traditional clothes market, ladies market, night market, trendy teenage market, shoe market.
If you are on a place where there is several apartments and/or village, there should be a market.
En los mercados se puede encontrar TODO lo que uno/a necesite. En los mercadillos de los barrios se pueden encontrar verduras, tok(dulce tradicional koeano), y zapatos de plastico ademas de supermercados |
