Mexico City Travel Guide: 2,111 reviews and 4,389 photos
I have spent about ten days in Mexico City and absolutely love it! In some ways it reminds me of a cool European capital, but in other ways it is distinctly Mexican. Either way, no other Mexican city can compare to the arts, architecture, dining and history that Mexico City has to offer. Don't come to Mexico and not visit Mexico City!
- Pros:Great architecture and public art, good weather, affordable.
- Cons:You'll probably eat too much cheese.

Too bad you couldn’t go to Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul or the Trotsky Museum. I’m a big fan of Frida Kahlo’s work and once even saw an opera about her life.
HA! your story of the Price Waterhouse guy who lost his passport reminds me of a guy who used to hang at the border from Tijuana to San Diego!! he had some friends who was put in jail after a brawl in a bar, was robbed and needed to get back ovr the border, etc., etc., etc., but I saw him there a number of times, confronting the stopped vehicles!
Mexico city has some good murals by your reviews. I'm quite fond of murals, went to Chemanius, I take it your from Vancouver island.
