Ooops... I Went to Brasov Twice

Counting down the minutes until I could leave Budapest and get back to Romania, I excitedly boarded the overnight train to Brasov. Half a day later we rolled into the station and I found myself in what I consider to be the heart of Transylvania. Even if it's not geographically in the center of the region, Brasov celebrates Transylvanian heritage and culture, and has a rich history. Today, it's a great place to visit; you could spend days wandering the town and then even more days exploring the surrounding areas. In fact, I liked it so much I ended up visiting twice (accidentally!).

Pros and Cons

Pros:Rich culture and heritage, beautiful churches, great day trips.
In a nutshell:A top stop on your tour of Romania!
