When I visited the Amalfi Coast, I took a day-trip from Sorrento to see Pompeii and Herculaneum. I really enjoyed my day but found it exhausting... so much history, so many tourists, and so much sunshine!

Very cool. Pompei is one of the many places I'd really like to visit. If I do I just hope the volcano (Vesuvius) doesn't wake up.
