BakauheniSeaPort an EntranceTo Lampung

Lampung Province was located at the most southern parts of Sumatra island, traveing by land transportation was easily access from Jakarta to Banten Province where from Merak Harbor across Sunda straits to BAKAU HENI, a Sea Port at the southern end of Kalianda, it was a route which link between Java island at the west end of Banten Province and Sumatra Island at the Southern end of Lampung Provine.
Long ago, Bakau Heni is a remote area, a beach with an abundant of Mangrove trees along the shore line, a place where local peoples do a Deer Hunting and then as ampung develops as a province, Bakau Heni was then open as a new Sea Port in the era of 1980

BAKAU HENI is comprise from two words, BAKAU meansMANGROVE
and HENI(HENspelling of E like LEARN) , HENI in Lampung Language
means SUNYI in Indonesia, and LONELY or TRANQUIL(?) in English.
Because Long ago, it was a remote area, a wood dwelling by wilds animals:like white spotted deer, Sumatran Tiger, Sumatran Elephants a flocks of wandering elephants and many others#(september2005)

BANdar LAMPUNG, theCapital ofLAMPUNG PROVInc

BANDAR LAMPUNG is the capital of the Province, located 100 km from Bakau Heni Seaports to the north. Actually it was twin city where TANJUNG KARANG is a down town located at Hill side or Upper land while TELUK BETUNG is a down town located at Lower land with its beauty of Lampung Bay. From Bakau Heni seaport traveling by land was easily to access by buses which will deliver you to Raja Basa Bus terninal at Tanjung Karang or you could go by a very convenient sharing taxi from Bakau Heni and deliver you to Teluk Betung or Tanjung Karang to your Hotel destination or to your home adress

Kalianda beach, wooden made Fisher boat

Tracking the sea side, then plan a stop at CANTI, a small port at Kalianda, over there one can find many small wooden made boats, from this point one can go sailing to LITLLE KRAKATAU, or a child of Mount Krakatau that appear to the sea surface in the year of 1927. It takes three to four hours getting there. The big Krakatau was erupted in 1883. now the litlle krakatau being an active volcano.

Very nicely done. I'm thinking about going going to Sumatra in a month and just may go by land and sea instead of flying to Medan. Seems like it would be a nice and peaceful trip overland.
