The Remnants of Majapahit Kingdom

Reclining Buddha : 22 m length, 6 m heigth, 4.2 m wide, about 50 km from Surabaya to the southwest
Location: Vihara Buddha Trowulan, Mojokerto East Java Province, Indonesia

Majapahit is a sovereign Kingdom in Indonesia in 1292 which located at Trowulan Villages, Mojokerto. The remnants of the Kingdom was collected in Trowulan Museum

MOJOKERTO a District of East Java Province

Mojokerto is one of a District in East Java province, located 50 km southwest of Surabaya which could be reach by a public transportation from Surabaya. At the moment I have had a chance to travel to Mojokerto by take a bus from Surabaya's Bungurasih station and gett off at Mojokerto Bus station
Mojokerto is divided into southern parts and northern parts by BRANTAS, a big River which run along the city, I was realized that Mojokerto is and industrial small city

TROWULAN and so many Temples

Trowulan is a gateway of Majapahit Kingdom, the first gate is WRINGIN LAWANG Temple as an entrance gate to Majapahit Kindom, then one could find BAJANG RATU Temple, CANDI TIKUS Temple, PURA SEGARA - a water basin - and BRAHU TEMPLE, there are also any other temples which still under investigation by Indonesian Archeological society.
In Trowulan there is a new Buddhist Temple with a golden statue of Buddha in a reclining position worth a visit
