The Memory of a Travel: SINGAPORE, MALAYSIA, JAPAN, SWITZERLAND (Basel, Lausanne, Chillon Montreaux, Interlaken, Jungfraujoch, Zurich), BRUNEI DARUSSALAM, AUSTRALIA (Melbourne, Geelong, Great Ocean Roads, Sydney)

I have spent my travel time through my home country -Indonesia- and it would be my favorite travel destination , where I could find so many nice places to discover, one of many countries in the world with its archipelagos scattered along the equatorial line, comprising of 17,504 large and small islands as the homeland of the peoples with more than 400 languages and dialects spoken in its different ethnic groups, and it was a great appreciation to our founding father on their hard works to unite those into one INDONESIA in one of a philosophy ‘BHINEKA TUNGGAL IKA’ which means UNITY in DIVERSITY. This would also be my great appreciation introducing Indonesia to the brotherhood peoples of this travel community, know each other and sharing a travel experience through this wonderful virtualtourist community.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:
Now I Live in a suburban of a small town BOGOR located at the northern part of Bogor City , West of Java, Indonesia. Bogor is popular with its Botanical Garden where one could find various kind of tropical trees, there are about 14, 000 species of trees. The Botanical Garden was established in 16th century, when a Gentleman from the United Kingdom "Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles" became a mayor of this beautiful small Town... I am working in Bogor, at NATIONAL VETERINARY LABORATORY ...also love my job as a VETERINARIAN

LOVE TOUR around INDONESIA

The picture behind is a view of Labuan Bajo Harbor-West Manggarai, Flores island

SUMATRA ISLAND : TRACKING Sumatra from the most North-Western part of Indonesia, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province to North Sumatra Province and ended up at West SUMATRA Province by land is an exciting trip.
Beginning the trip from ACEH (Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam) Province, an INDONESIAN most North-Western parts with BANDA ACEH as the capital of the Province and its landmark MASJID BAITURRACHMAN and the memory of 9.0 in Richter scale of an earth quake which happened in December 26, 2004, hits ACEH and devastated its north-west region of ACEH LAND by a big wave of TSUNAMI from Indian Ocean, but nowadays the recovery is going on and Aceh Lands was still retained its beauty.

A fascinating trip to the WEH ISLAND is by crossing the blue sea from ULEE LHEUE sea port to Balohan bay, an old SABANG City, the beach lines of IBOIH and GAPANG, Indonesian ZERO KILOMETER, PULAU RONDO and PULAU RUBIAH…
From Banda Aceh by sharing Taxi via Jantho, Pidie, Bireun, reached Central Aceh in the early morning, visited lake DANAU LAUT TAWAR at a lake front small town name TAKENGON which confined by the slope of green hills.
From Takengon head on eastward and stop a few moment at a transit small town Bireun, then to Lhok Seumaue and have a night at LANGSA and the next morning continue traveling by commuter van southward to MEDAN, the capital of North Sumatra Province a couple of days with its ISTANA MAIMUN and masjid AL-MASHUN, and Merdeka Walk, a popular place for hang out .

From Medan to the south was an exciting 4 hours land travel to DANAU TOBA via Serdang Bedagai, Deli Serdang, Tebing Tinggi, Pematang Siantar and stay one night at Parapat, a lake front small town and take an opportunity to discover one of Indonesian popular and magnificent view of DANAU TOBA and its green mountain range of Samosir island.
Leave Parapat by minibus via Balige , Tarutung and stay one night at SIBOLGA, thence crossing Tropical Rainforest along MANDAILING NATAL, stop a few moments for lunch at Panyabungan and entering Northern Parts of West Sumatra at the dark of the night, crossing EQUATOR LINE at BOnjol village and stay two nights at BUKIT TINGGI to see Sianouk Valley, Jam Gadang, Benteng Fort De Kock and the Zoo, then from Bukit Tinggi, crossing Anay valley and its waterfall, stay two night at the capital of West Sumatra Province, Padang and terminating the journey at MINANGKABAU airport, return back home to Bogor West Java via Jakarta.

Another ADVENTURE was on the South Western parts of SUMATRA island: Bengkulu Province with the capital city BENGKULU is a province with lush and green tropical rainforest, and its beach line of Pantai Panjang ( Long beach) facing the big waves of Indian Ocean.
From Bengkulu by train to South Sumatra Province with the capital city PALEMBANG is popular with its big Musi River where we could see a swaying bridge of Jembatan AMPERA, Benteng Kuto Besak- a fortress and pulau Kemaro.

RIAU Province was also a nice place for a vacation, on BATAM or BINTAN and other small islands nearby which offers beaches, boating, diving, snorkeling and enjoy a culinary seafood.

LAMPUNG Province is a very special place for me, was located at the most southern tip of Sumatra island where a traveler would discover an active volcano - mount KRAKATAU- situated on Sunda strait with the story of its big eruption in 1883. Not far from here, face to face with Krakatau, the travel would find a dormant volcano of Mount Rajabasa in where, right at the foot of the mountain, there is a small town called KALIANDA and its beach lines which confined the beauty of Lampung Bay, is a fishing village where I was born and grew up
