    Getting TO/AROUND: From Munich Haustbahnhof, there is a train going to Fussen. Travel time is around 2 hours and, along the way, you will be mesmerized by the Bavarian countryside. And, even if you get absorbed with the views, you will never miss Fussen, it is the end of the train line.

     very lucky and blessed i am! ive been to Neuscwenstein 3 times - twice in lovely summer and then in even more romantic winter - very lucky with lots of snow around and extra beautiful!! but yes its lovely inside and out anytime!no he wasnt mad at all!!    		mtncorg Sun Apr 10, 2005 05:03 UTC
     The train allows you to visit the town and not just the Castles, indeed. And the ride down is great - whether you are coming from Munich or Augsburg ;-]
