Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology Drumheller is located 130 km Northeast of Calgary in Alberta's Badlands. Made up of badlands, hoodoos, canyons and coulees, the area provides vast terrains of discovery. The Drumheller Badlands are one of the few areas in the world where sedimentary layers from earlier time periods have been scraped off by natural processes, exposing a rich cache of fossils and even complete dinosaur skeletons. |

TheWanderingCamel Fri Jul 15, 2005 15:59 UTC Fascinating museum - we wished we had our son with us -he was a dinosaur-nut at 6. | dabidc Sun Dec 19, 2004 02:49 UTC Thanks Kevin , have to admit it is 20 years since I was in Drumheller, to be corrected next year, especially since you visited the area all the way from the land of the 'Roos. Great page, very enjoyable. | Xemx Sun Oct 31, 2004 18:52 UTC I never realized that Canada had so many dinosaurs in the past...always learning new things here. Thanks for the info. and pics, Kev.
