The most spectacular scenery Ever since I could read I was only interested in travel brochures. Most kids I knew only read about Peter Pan and Cinderella, me, I read about Canada. I guess it was the stunning scenery, perhaps the wildlife photography or pehaps I just needed to escape half way around the world to this "oasis of the north," all I knew at this early age was that I wanted what seemed so impossible....To come here! Founded in 1907, Canada's sixth national park, Jasper National Park is the largest wilderness park in the Canadian Rockies. It is also a World Heritage Site, and one of the core parts of the largest national park systems in the world. I love this place! |

| | The most spectacular scenery An amazing variety of wildlife, including large populations of grizzly and black bears, mountain caribou, elk, moose and wolves call Jasper National Park home. The best times of year to visit Jasper, if you are looking for this wildlife are from March to June or in the fall from September to November. Anne and I travelled in the Fall. |
