On our visit to Vancouver we ventured into Stanley Park and soon discovered that this was a destination that could take up an entire day! Stanley Park is the largest civic park in Canada and contains, among other things, the Vancouver Aquarium, a pitch and putt golf course, totem poles, an aquarium, lookouts, restaurants and cafes, bathing beaches, Beaver Lake, wildlife, picnic spots and loads more!!!! A magnificent adventure. |
| Floating petrol stations. |
| | Vancouver is on the Pacific Ocean. This phoyo is taken from the Totem Poles in Stanley Park looking back at the city. I had never seen floating petrol (gas) stations before! |
| | Stanley Park residents. Raccoon reside at the Prospect point lookout. Don't feed them as we saw a young girl attempt to feed this lot and a Racoon war erupted resulting in several nasty scratches to the girls leg! |
