I first went to France in October 2003. My sister and I shared a lifelong dream of going to see where our ancestors came from. One Ancentress was a Fille du Roi in the 1600's and was sent to Canada.
My sister and I went to Paris for 5days, then rented a car and traveled through the Loire Valley. We went to Normandy, Mont St Michel, Amboise, Chernonceau, Canes, Tours and Rouen.
We had a marvelous time and me so many wonderful people.
The travel bug has bitten me, so in the spring of 2004 I headed off to Paris for 6 days with my brother, mother and assorted friends. We saw all the usual sites and again had a great time. Traveling with my brother and his lifepartner is quite an experience. They are World travelers and have so much knowledge that it is like having my very own tour guides.
They have planned a trip to Madrid, Morocco, Gibraltar and Malaga in October and I am tagging along.
Next May I a planning a trip to Rome and Tuscany with friends and family.
I'm quite excited about all the trp I have to look forward too.
Back at home,I travel around Florida frequently and make a few trips a year to Nashville to see my daughter and her children.
As I said, I want to see it al.
