Hoi An is famous for its ancient town and my Son Sanctuary as UNESCO heritage sites in Vietnam. During the 1st century, the Cham (people of Champa) had settled here for trading as having the largest harbour in Southeast Asia. My Son Sanctuary site is the remnant of its central religious for the capital of the Champa Kingdom. During 16th and 17th century, this town became the trading center for the Chinese, Japanese, Dutch, and Indian. Hoi An has many remnant old buildings architecture influenced by pass settlers.
We arrived in Hoi An at 6am in the morning. We searched around for an accommodation near town area. We started our My Son Sanctuary and boat trip to Kim Bong village at 8:30am. We finished the tour at 2:30pm. We had time to visit the Japanese bridge, Museum of Folklane, and shop around in town area. We had dinner at Thu Bon riverfront area. The night scenes in Hoi An was beautiful with lanterns lights by some lanterns shops and locals. The next day, we continued our road trip to the old capital of Vietnam, Hue.

You enjoyed good weather during your stay here...I guess we all hit the same places more or less when we visit Hoi An..this was a highlight of my time in Vietnam...Nice photos..Thanks for the little tour :o)
