About My Travel Experience !!

I grow up in a small town in Sabah, Papar, 30-minutes drive away from Kota Kinabalu, the capital city of Sabah. When I was little, I was curious about the outside world. Going to nearby beaches, Mount Kinabalu National Park, or shopping malls in KK are some of my childhood travel experiences.

After high school, I had the opportunities to study in KL, then United Sates. Tall buildings, heavy traffics, and varieties of food stalls are some of the KL scenes that I experienced. At that time, there were no KLCC or KL tower, but tall buildings and constructions are everywhere.

After studying in KL, I went to study in Nebraska, United States. First time in Nebraska was like into a totally different environment and culture. I was excited even I was in a small town, cause everything was new to me. I found every opportunities to travel outside of Lincoln or the state of Nebraska. During regular semesters, I worked part-times jobs to earn money to travel during semester breaks. Most of time, I traveled with school mates on rental car. It could be east coast, like DC, NYC, Boston, and etc one break, then LA, San Francisco, Portland, all the way to Vancouver on another break. After I graduated, I managed to go almost every important cities, and National Parks in the states. There were few places that I missed, cities like Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, Salt Lake City, National Park like Mouth Rushmore & Yellowstone.

After Lincoln Nebraska, I traveled in the states with my madza323. I worked in the east coast of Virginia and North Carolina. And, I visited my cousin in Alabama, then traveled all the way south to work for Disney in Florida. After Florida, I traveled 5 days on the road to Southern California. I lived in Orange County for 1 year before I moved back to Asia.

I lived and worked in Singapore for 5 years, and moved back to Kuala Lumpur permanently. During my stayed in Asia, I continued to travel. I gain more experiences to travel in China, or other Southeast Asia countries like Vietnam and Thailand. My future travel plans will be Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, India, and more China like Tibet. Most likely I will travel to other continents like New Zealand or Europe once a year.

I think life is great to have the freedom to travel!!

Loved your tip about Yuanmingyuan Park today! Unfortunately, I'm trying not to repeat Tip of the Day people within a month, otherwise you would def be a contender! Keep up the amazing work & fantastic photographs!
