Well, half of the times I'm not very sure myself! I like to think I'm a caring & intelligent person... hmmm, some people might object to that! I can be quite moody & somewhat inconsistent sometimes... especially when it comes to VT! But then again I can be reliable and responsible as well. There's many different Urzus, sometimes silly & crazy, sometimes serious, sometimes talkative, sometimes quiet (or rather just a listener!). I'm always happy to get to know new things and people, so feel free to drop me a line!
I was born in Madrid, Spain, and I guess I've been lucky, since I have been able to travel around since I was little. My parents are originally from Peru, and I have relatives in different countries, which is great because you get to visit them! Since the age of 19 I had been living more abroad than in Spain itself, I spent 3 years in Germany, 4 months in the U.K., and almost 4 years in The Netherlands. They've been all great experiences, but now I'm back in Madrid, my hometown, and althought it's a bit strange, I still love it! No plans to go back the NL or to Germany or anything like that for a longer stay again (sure to visit again), however I am already wondering what my next destination will be... I can't help it!
Now what are my interests? Well, I have plenty! I love all the "typical" things, such as travelling, movies, reading, music, art, and so on! My taste however changes like the wind! So to let you know right now I can tell you that...
My favorite books are: "One Hundred Years of Solitude" (G. Garcia Marquez), "Hopscotch" or in Spanish "Rayuela" (Julio Cortazar), and lately I LOVE almost anything written by Haruki Murakami!! I have a very long list of books I want to read (or re-read), including books by Jose Saramago or the "Steppenwolf" by Herman Hesse.
My favorite movies are: I'm a huge Hitchcock fan, I love most of his films! Also "In the Mood for Love" & "2046" (Wong Kar Wai), "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" (Michel Gondry), actually my friends tend to think that I like weird movies... the truth is that I like movies that make me think!
My favorite music (artists/groups): At the moment I listen a lot to Spoon, discovered not long ago and I'm loving their music! Also been listening to Beirut a lot, and my ever-present Radiohead, Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor, Rachael Yamagata and of corse dEUS! Then again, you might find me listening to 80's pop or things like that :-) !!
My favorite artists: Now that's a difficult one! I think I prefer contemporary art to classic one, I'm very fond of surrealism, but the artists I like change very often! Lately I went to an exhibition of the painting of Paula Rego and was very impressed! From the pic I "created" you might guess I do like Magritte as well! |
|  | What I do I still have my Thesis to finish from my Media and Entertainment Management studies. Lately I had been working part time for a little production company in Madrid, but that's over now, I have to say it was extremelly nice to put my knowledge into practice and of course learn many interesting things! On this picture you can see my two dear classmates Tessa and Karen filming for one of our projects for class... doesn't it look like fun :-) !! |

We all go our different ways most of the times, but we're there for each other and I love them all: my mum, dad & younger brother. I have to say especially my mum is one of the greatest people on earth! Really, ask anyone!! :-) |

Not sure yet the other problem is that I only have three weeks of... and thats so short for a real backpacking holiday... but we will see ...al options are open...spain is my backupplan... :) |
