Minneapolis is not the type of city to visit for a typical vacation. Most of the people that come here as tourists are interested in sports of some kind, a convention of some sort, or come to see relatives. Don't get me wrong; I love Minneapolis! You just have to dig a little deep to find the things you enjoy! This is a picture I took on my way home from work on February 28, 2001. I live in NorthEast Minneapolis 2 blocks from the Mississippi River and approximately 2 miles from downtown. I love watching the ice on the river and there are always so many geese and ducks!
