This bay is on the far West corner of the Isle of Wight. From the cliff tops the famous 'Needles' can be seen.An amazing rock formation, jutting out from the tip of the island.
This is a delightful area of the island, unspoilt and quiet. The beach is sandy but drops away suddenly at high tide, so dangerous for little kids.Fine at low tide.Lovely for a walk along the sands.
This is me, just about to board the ferry, after our lovely holiday!( in my brunette period!)This is the harbour one arrives at by ferry from south coast of England, from Lymington. The ' trip' across the Solent takes about 40 minutes-no passports needed!
- Pros:Fabulous for a relaxing holiday.
- Cons:Restaurants close early-go French and have big lunch!

very nice photos you have there.
Havn't been back to the IOW since sleeping through Hendrix's last gig in this world. Remember the opening bars of God Save the Queen.....
Hi Diana! Gorgeous photo of the moonlight. Nice tip. Gillybob greetings
Spent so many happy evenings in Yarmouth on our boat. Jean
I was just at the "Pear Tree" last week with Buggs. Bought a great pair of earrings, and let me tell you...she has a lot of wonderful jewelry, and a lot of teas and food items from England/Ireland...clotted cream, biscuits, etc...~
Great photos - brought back great memories of my childhood. Thanks!
Lovely pictures - they bring back happy memories!
***** Pictures Diana.
Nice pics, Diana (of the lovely sunsets, beaches and brunettes). I just visited Guernsey recently and think island sunsets & sunrises must always be beautiful. Hope your birthday is (was - I almost missed it!) wonderful. Rex
