I travelled to Barbados with my fiance and 14 family members for a very special holiday - we chose the island for our wedding!

I had never visited the island before so didn't know what to expect. I found it to be a truly wonderful place, and everything we could have wanted for such as special event.

Our wedding party included all ages from 17 months up to my 89 year old grandmother, so I can say with my hand on heart that I know that the island will suit all ages of visitor!

We were only able to spend a week on the island, and so weren't able to see everything that we wanted. I'm hoping that we can return one day and spend more time exploring Bridgetown, take a boat trip and of course a rum tour. You could easily spend a fortnight on the island and not run out of things to do.

I'll include some tips on my pages for anybody thinking of getting married on the island. I have such happy memories of our trip, I really can't recommend it enough as a destination for a truly romantic wedding.

Your intro picture of Foul Bay is wonderful...it should be a computer screen saver! Your tips on Foul Bay and Bathsheba are excellent...sparks that will surely light a burning desire for me to visit Barbados!
