York House: A good base for exploring

York House is in Hawkser, on the outskirts of Robin Hood's Bay and a short drive from Whitby. It is very clean and comfortable, and the rooms and en-suite bathrooms are a good size. It has very pleasant gardens that you can use if the weather is fine. Plenty of off-road parking. Very good English breakfast.
Unique Qualities: Try to get a room at the front of the house on one of the upper floors. The view of the sunset is stunning. The b&b is no-smoking, and does not take children under the age of eight.
