The city has only 70'000 habitants, but from all different nationalities. It's one of the biggest and most important cities in Switzerland. Their main language is German and it's a pretty religious city with historical background. |
| | What to do? It's a great place to go shopping...with small streets and cute houses/architecture.
It's also a great place to begin some nice walks, to the constance lake for example or small cities nearby.
The organisation and location for bike trips is very good!
There's a very old and famous library that is really worth seeing.
If you are doing a trip around Switzerland, it's a cute city to visit, but you can see everything in 2 - 3 days...on sundays nothing happens.
It's a good place to stay on winter, 'cause there are a lot of places around where you can go skying. |
Parties and Young People The parties are ok, 2 per week..mostly organised by the Management University. There aren't a lot of programs at night, but there's cinema (expensive), a lot of openairs in summer and some bars and restaurants....
There are many nice theater spectacles to be seen each season. |
