Nice Getaway

Madikeri/Coorg is 250 kms from Bangalore and around1500 m above sea level .This town has a lot to offer .Misty hills, lush forest, acres and acres of tea and coffee plantation, orange groves, and breathtaking views are what make Madikeri an unforgettable holiday destination.

Pros:Very friendly people and helpful nature
Cons:Too heavy rains in the rainy season

Nice pics of the Abbey Falls!!! It was a beautiful experience in Karnataka and I really enjoyed it a lot, visiting all the temple towns like Dharmasthala, Belur, Halebid, Hampi, Aihole, Badami, Pattadakal, Mysore, Srirangapatanna & Shimoga!!!

hehe G3 - cuppa tea and a good curry and I will stay anywhere lols :-D I admire most of the Indian Saris (sp?) that the women wear. Truly breathtaking materials and colours. I SO wanna be there with the elephants too! Thanks 4 sharing *H*
