Love to Travel!!

by Randy121 - last update: Sep 17, 2007

Brussels, Belgium

Brussels, Grand-Place.

Portage Glacier Alaska

Awesome scenery.

Rented a RV for 2 nights and drove from Anchorage to Homer and then to Portage Glacier. Alot of driving but it was great!

Sydney, Australia

This picture was taken right next to the Opera House. It is a few steps to our right. Awesome view of city lights.

Island of Capri Italy

We caught a ferry to the island of Capri off the coast of Italy near Sorento.

The ferry ride was about 20 minutes.

It was well worth it. The narrow streets were line with shops and eateries. The views of the cliffs, buildings, and ocean were awesome.

Cambodia

This is the Cambodian/Thailand Border.

This was a unique experience to say the least. Cambodians cross the border into Thailand pulling large wooden carts. They buy goods on the Thailand side and then pull it back over the border into Cambodia.

The Cambodians we saw were dressed in very worn old clothes. It was sad to see. Cute little children came to us for money. They held umbrellas over us for a tip. They followed us all over the place and always had a smile on thier face.

Large Casinos are located on the Cambodian side. Outside the lush casino was a dirt road with poor Cambodians pulling thier large heavy wooden carts. It was sad.

We had to buy our VISA right there on the spot for US $50 each to cross from Thailand into Cambodia.

Collesium

A toast to the Collesium in Rome.

Had a grand time in Rome. I couldn't have been more impressed by walking into the collesium and thinking of the history that took place there. Awesome.

We had an early curbside dinner at a restuarant across the street from the collesium.

Ueno, Japan

Busy street in Ueno, Japan. Lots of shops and restuarants and tons of people.

Great subway system in Japan. You pay by the distance traveled.
Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls

View of the falls from our hotel room on the Canadian side.

The falls are lit up with lights during the evening. Awesome!!

For you gamblers, there's a Casino in this area.
