Loose yourself in San Francisco

My Second home in USA

The U.N. Square in SFO
When I am not in Afghanistan or other distant lands for work, and when I am not visiting my Dad in Lancaster, PA - San Francisco is my home.

I used to live at the intersection of Polk & Sacramento and just love the city.

It's multicultural, its dynamic, there is a feeling of free-spiritedness and change. Such a wonderful place, with great restuarants and friendly people.

It has the feel of a european city and the snap and innovation that it purely American.

There is Yoga, biking, hiking and watersports to do and you are close to the ocean, as well as the mountains.

You will love it!
my old neighboorhood

Polk St.

This is the Polk Gulch area, which sits near the Tenderloin, so named for the extra ration of meat that police used to get to patrol the area.

Polk St. is the first Castro, from back in the day and is now the heart of the tranny scene.
Lombard St., SFO

Beautiful city

Springtime is the best time to visit, except for June (Gay Pride) and October 31 (Halloween). Lombard St., 'the crookest street in the world' is a big draw for tourists and residents, alike
