Something for Everyone | On a clear day - Mount Teide can be seen! |
Mount Teide is probably the most notable thing associated with Tenerife. This dormant volcano can be seen all around the island - little wonder as it is the highest point in all of Spain!
Sometimes it's peak is snow covered, which seems very strange to look at whilst sunbathing on the beaches below! |
|  | Las Americas to Los Cristianos! It is possible to walk for several miles along the seafront promenade between Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos, and even further either way if you have the energy! It is an intersesting walk passing many beaches, hotels, shops, bars, restaurants, etc. and flowers all along the route! One part is named Geranium Walk! You probably won't be alone though, these are busy and very popular resorts and there are always many people strolling, jogging or simply meandering along enjoying the sunshine!
This is just one of many views of the lovely red and cream poinsettia plants that were planted in abundance for Christmas, around all the resorts. |
