I visited the Grand Canyon NP as part of a trip from SanFrancisco to Los Angeles visiting the National parks of south west USA in between.
Each park has its own style and are so diverse from each other.
Its hard to understand the sheer scale of the Grand Canyon and the forces of nature that have been and are still moulding the landscape here. |

|  | I would thoroughly recommend a helicopter trip Having never been in a helicopter before I was apprehensive about this, especially when on our first afternoon when we had the flight prebooked it was cancelled due to a thunder/lightning storm.
However I still went ahead the next day, and am so pleased I did, WHAT a view, only by being above the Canyon do you partially grasp its size.
