A fantastic 3 night trip | Gondolas and San giorgio maggiore |
We flew by easyjet from London, gatwick on 26th December 2005 and stayed 3 nights at the Hotel Gorizzia " a la valiglia" which is located superbly between the 2 main sight seeing locations in venice -
The Rialto bridge and St marks Square.
During the stay we used the very well priced tourist passes to ride the Vaporetto (water buses) along the Grand Canal and into the other canals.
Had a nice day outing to the island of Murano, famous for its glass.
In all we had a great trip and hope to return in not too long.
