"Spectacular Spectacular!!" Mount Gambier by Maxiediva

Wow! They really meant it. It's not the Blue Lake, it's THE Blue Lake. The first time when i saw the azure colour, I thought this was the colour tray where She dipped Her paintbrush when She painted the sky. It's huge (I can't fit all in my camera) and it's Gorgeous and I'm Speechless. It's serene and if size matters, this is one natural wonder (other than the 12 apostles) that takes the cake and edith too. :-)

Oh... there's also a sinkhole that's been turned into a garden. I think the guy's name is Umpherton. There used to be a little lake and a little waterfall but they converted changed that now. In Summer when the flowers are blooming.. it's worth a visit... but not if you're allergic to pollen.

What can i say.... it's like a sub-urban fairy tale. Everyone knows everyone else, and best friends live a couple of doors away. Barbies in the weekends and footy on tv.

4 hours either way from melbourne or adelaide and after all the vast open fields along the way. Mt. G is like warm apple pie topped with vanilla ice-cream (or pudding) after a long drive.
