A couple of decades ago Prague was almost closed to western tourists. We can only find out what we have been missing after we visit this fantastic fairy-tale city - Prague is absolutely unique in its history, architecture and beer-making craft.
Fully aware of its potential as a tourist destination, the city is very well prepared for visitors: most Czechs speak at least basic English.
However, the heritage from the communist days can still be noticed. Some public services are not very reliable and some people still don't know how to handle foreign visitors. The following pages try to cover most of the main attractions the city has to offer. |

| Pros: | "Unique blend of architectural styles, welcoming people, still cost-effective" | | Cons: | "too cold in the winter" | | In A Nutshell: | "Prague is tough competition to Paris as one of the world's most fantastic cities." |
