the accommodations
the locals

my friend and i were talking about what exactly makes this place so lovely. we decided it is the locals! this is a town of maybe 200 residents (maybe more) and it consists of a couple restaurants, a surf shop with internet, cabanas, some shacks, wild horses, and lots of palm trees. but you will not feel alone here. the locals treat every guest as if he has a right to be there, as if the locals are sharing their little secret with you. you are away from the hustle and bustle of a city, and yet you have everything you need in this little oasis. meeting people has never been so rewarding, and so many people come and go, but you can still feel like it´s home, no matter how long you stay.

the water is not best for swimming, as there is a strong undertoe and violent waves. it´s great for surfing and body boarding. that´s what puts playa nexpa on the map. break a leash? go to the surf shop and have it replaced. need wax? rash guard? covered.
