fur coats are not just for fashion! fur coats are necessary in munich in the winter. it snows so wear water proof shoes, thermals, gloves, beanie, fur coat, extra socks, and bring chapstick. it is very cold and if you want to enjoy walking and wandering around this very navigable city, dress warmly! |
|  | it's not called a stein you tourist! when you go to the Hofbrauhaus, don't make the mistake i made by ordering a "stein" of beer. the waitress corrected me and said that only people who have been attending the hofbrauhaus for many many years get what's called a stein. for us average tourists, it's just called a pint of beer. |
