concon is the best getaway because it feels like home for me. it has a small beach town attitude, long beach, sandy streets, stray dogs, cheap good fresh eats, salty locals and beach cruisers...what i liked most is that it is laid back without the prices or attitude of a destination city. it's a small enclave only a short busride from vina del mar, and the coastal views on the ride there are priceless, with the waves lapping the rocky walls only feet from the road. you may even make a friend...
